Our strapping systems are designed and manufactured to perform and deliver on all types of applications in the lumber industry. Whether its timber, plywood, trusses, particle board, fiberboard, wood composite panels or any other type, we have a solution for you. If required, our automated solutions can also include a lumber press able to apply over 22.000lbs of pressure. Or, should your requirements be more basic, our standard side strapping machines will greatly increase your efficiency and productivity.
We offer a wide range of arches to accommodate any bundle size and our jumbo strap dispensers’ option will greatly reduce your downtime. These various automated solutions include our renown, compact and durable FROMM heads that will drastically improve your performance. A FROMM strapping head positioned off center – will enable you to strap all types of large, small, and uneven packages. Fully automated wrapping of wood products
FROMM Curtain Wrapping Machines is state of art curtain technology based solution for long and standard shaped goods. Previously wood products like timber packs, mdf, plywood have been wrapped in a manual process, with the plastic sheets applied and held with staples. From there it goes through the automated strapping process. To ease this process FROMM has developed an automated curtain wrapping solution that is fully automatic, reliable , safe and cost efficient.
The Curtain Wrapping process is five-sided and production speed is around 60 seconds depending on pack size and line speed. The machine is equipped with two separate side film units, two top film dispensers and a separate logo film unit.
