    Service Technician

    The Opportunity

    The FROMM Group designs, develops and produces a wide variety of systems and products for the packaging Industry for unitizing and shipment of Materials.

    FROMM Packaging Systems Canada Inc. is looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed and a proven track record of success. This role is responsible for the development and ongoing technical Field Service business.

    What You Will do at Fromm

     

    • Drive service success and improve customer service experience.

    • Analyze and repair operational problems with Automated and semi-automatic Strapping equipment.

    • Diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware and software components.

    • Install and configure appropriate parts and programs according to specifications.

    • Read, interpret, and troubleshoot using mechanical/electrical drawings.

    • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose problems.

    • Ensure the availability of spare parts and resources, including maintaining the inventory records for equipment and supplies.

    • Thorough understanding and use of general and maintenance tools and safe work practices.

    • Maintain documentation and proper record of technical operations and procedures.

    • Answers questions from customers and appropriately handle complaints in a timely manner.

    • Abide by Fromm’s policies and procedure and follow all safety regulations.



    What You Need to Succeed

    • Post-Secondary Education in a technical field or equivalent work experience.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Strong computer skills in MSoffice are essential.

    • Self starter who has exceptional organization skills

    • Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, have demonstrated customer service skills and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
