    FROMM Packaging Systems Canada Inc. is looking for a highly motivated, driven individual with a strong desire to drive sales and has proven track record of success. The role is responsible for driving sales of our premier Tool and Equipment product lines through lead development, product demonstration, events, and promote our brands in industrial settings as well as developing and selling service programs.

    Location : Ontario Region

    The Field Sales Representative will perform the following: 

    • Provide best in class sales and service to consumers and maximize sales of our Fromm Strapping Tool Line, Equipment and Wrapping Solutions.
    • Generate awareness for our products through direct sales activities and implementing strategic marketing activities
    • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking
    • Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
    • Provide product training sessions to educate customers
    • Plan and execute demonstrations to generate demand for our innovative products
    • Attend Trade Shows to develop opportunity in industry.
    • Monitor weekly sales results to identify opportunities and trends
    • Participate in our Leadership Development Training Program which serves as the foundation for all other positions in our “promote from within” company
    • Maintain regular contact with existing customer associates and management to cultivate strong relationships
    • Develop your entrepreneurial skills by “running a business within a business” as you build strong relationships with your customer base

    What You Need to Succeed:

    • University Degree or College Diploma in a technology related field.
    • 5 years work experience in retail sales, field sales, and B2B would be an asset
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
    • Must be self-motivated and a team player with strong communication and time management skills
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills
    • Strong organizational and planning skills
    • Display a professional demeanor.
    • Must be MS Office proficient
    • Travel within the territory with minor travel outside of the territory.

    Location : Ajax, ON

    Job Description

    Thorough understanding of general and maintenance safe work practices such as Hot Work, Lock out, Electrical Safety, PPE etc. Self-Starter,
    driven for service success and improving customer service experience.
    Analyze, electrical/mechanical and operational problems within equipment and strapping tools.
    Diagnose and evaluate strapping tool and equipment needs.
    Document and provide tool estimates.
    Work with other team members to maintain and improve service program.
    Repair all strapping tools, polypropylene, airpad, stretch wrap equipment and Fromm Automated Systems. As well as providing
    troubleshooting and technical support.
    Be knowledgeable in electrical distribution and machine controls ranging from 24 to 540 volts AC/DC.
    Able to read and trouble shoot from schematic drawings
    Coordinating and ensuring all equipment is properly certified to provincial requirements ie: ESA and making required changes and
    documentation
    Coordinate and work with subcontractors on Automated Systems Installations and repairs. Make sales calls on customers and establish PM
    service programs for Equipment and Tool Repairs
    Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: participating in safety and continuous improvement programs, performing regular
    equipment and office maintenance. Pick up tools from customers for repair as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Two or more years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong computer skills in MSoffice are essential.
    • Working knowledge of PLC programming for Allen Bradley, Controllogix and Siemens would be considered an asset
    • Valid Driver License, clean driving record, and personal vehicle
    • Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, have demonstrated customer service skills and be
    comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. The flexibility to travel, work after hours and on weekends (When
    required) is also essential in the role.
    • Ability to work well with other team members as well as individually

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    Post-Secondary degree or diploma or equivalent work experience
    • Electrical Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology would be an asset
    • Experience servicing or repairing industrial equipment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
